  • This elegant leather lounge chair is a contemporary adaptation of the Butterfly chair that was designed in 1938 by architects Bonet, Kurchan and Ferraro (BKF) in Buenos Aires. It is believed they were inspired by the foldable chair made of wood and Italian leather "La Tripolina". Only 3 armchairs were made. One of which is in the MoMa in New York, another at Frank Lloyd house Fallingwater. The third is yet to be discovered.

The leather seat slides around a black tubular metal structure. The edges of the seat have a lovely sturdy yet delicate stitching, giving it an overall stylish yet sleek look.

Adorn it with a Scandi Sheepskin or place on a South American Natural Cowhide creating a distinctive look in your home.
